QUESTION

Can a puppy contract be enforced?

Asked on Apr 12th, 2017 on Animal Law - Florida
More details to this question:
The contract states that a puppy cannot be rehomed and must be returned to seller, without compensation, if buyer can no longer take care of said puppy. No refunds under any circumstances. Is this legal? What if someone wanted to give the puppy to a relative?

Contracts are contracts and they operate by thier terms. Unless you want to spend lots of money fighting over the issue - look elsewhere for a puppy.
