Can I get a refund for an animal that I purchased that had a 7 day warranty, but then died 13 days after purchase?

More details to this question:
I think my ferret was deaf and he slept 23 hours of the day. I think he may have had something wrong with him. I didn't get a chance to bring him to a vet before his death. He lived in an open confinement at the store. I think maybe he contracted a disease. When I purchased this animal I did not no that this pet store was already under investigation. Please Help!

Unfortunately, when you fill in an explanation with lots of "think thats" and "what had happened" statements, the answer is rarely going to be good. If you knew the animal was sick and didnt take it to the vet, the responsibility well may be yours and there is no excusing that. You should have either taken the animal back to the shop or the vet immediately. Then you would have known exactly what the problem was and whether the shop had some liability. It may be impossible to sort that out at this point, unfortunately.
