I gave my $1,500 Siberian cat to my friend to look after while I was temporarily in a shelter for women affected by domestic violence. In two weeks she told me she gave it away because of her allergies. I want my cat back!! Where can I get legal help? I have agreed to pay her the $200 she claims she spent on it.

This is an issue about the terms of the "giving" the cat away. There is no "legal help" that will address such an issue absent some personal favor from a lawyer you know or the like. This sounds like there is more to this story from the other person that may also affect who did what to whom or for whom.
