More details to this question:
We paid for a 20 day board and train program in the amount of $2245. When we picked up our dog he had been abused/neglected. We would like to get a full refund, plus receive payment of the vet bill in the amount of $586. I am not sure if there is a monetary value on the pain and suffering our dog has had or the time off work my husband had to care for our dog.

There is no finaincially viable legal claim here. You can pursue if you wish, but its not cost effective. Otheriwse you can report the abuse to animal control.
