I recently opened a pet store in fort lauderdale florida, and I just found out that there is a group of protesters trying to get baned pet stores in Fort Lauderdale. There will be a meeting with comissioners and the mayor to vote on June 6. I have licence from Broward county to breed and sell puppies and the city of fort lauderdale approved occupancy for my business just a month ago.

This is really a political issue intertwined with a legal one. You will want to hire a lawyer to attend the commission meeting and work with you to prevent any adverse ordinance changes or actions. This unfortunately, is not an inexpensive legal issue so you may want to get others to contribute.
