what recourse do I have for a dog biting me ?

More details to this question:
A homeowner trespassed on my property with his dog. His dog attacked and killed our dog and trying to save our dog and break up the fight I was bitten. Also the trespasser neighbor pushed me while all of this was going on. our dog died.

This sounds more like a "hatfeilds vs. McCoys" situation. As such, you will need to retain a lawyer to review these facts in detail OBJECTIVELY and then go from there.

  Just to add   My office gives free consultations and if the case is accepted, you pay nothing unless the case is won.   You should retain counsel here in Florida for contingency fee representation. What that means is lawyer doesn’t charge unless you win the case. Additionally lawyer advances all costs of litigation. Also take pictures of your dog bite to show the extent of the injuries and don’t discuss the case with the other party.
