I got married a long time ago In New York, But literally after we married I did not see him again. I was told he married me for a green card but had a previous relationship that I didn't know about and left with the woman. I always thought he divorced me without me knowing. So I have continued with my life. Now years later I have met someone and want to get married and I found out that I am still married.. What can I do to divorce this person. I don't know where to find him.

Your marriage certificate should list his legal name and Date of birth. You get your marriage certificate from the vital records department in the state you were married. With that information a private investigator could find him probobally within 5 minutes. After you locate him, retain a family law lawyer and serve him with a lawsuit for divorce.
