bank foreclosure

More details to this question:
i havent made a payment since 2010.i have sent modification papers to bank of america and nothing.i just heard from them.they dont have any sign paperwork or contract from me and sent me out one to sign.they got my loan from countrywide but no paperwork.should i sign them or geta lawyer..i just want a modification of my loan.but if i sign i believe they will have me over a barrel.

If you dont know the legal effect of what you are signing, you should immediately hire a lawyer to make sure you dont jump out of ffrying pan and into the fire. A few thousand $$ spent up front can save tens of thousands or more later.
