Bankruptcy what should i do

More details to this question:
My credit score is very low,im working with law firm to try and help but i dont have much on there,couple charge offs,2500,800,2200,280,last 2 were for auto accidents that gap did not completely pay off i just found out,oh 4500 in child support arrears for my wife.long story,but i dont owe any child support its money they want me to repay for her when she received aid before i knew her,been fighting fir ovet 20 years,and thats it what should i do law firm is really doing nothing,last year i had a very terrible accident,3 in 2 years which is why i couldnt pay 2 credit cards i had low limits

Bankruptcy is a good way to clean your credit and start rebuilding it, but the money owed to the child support agency may not be dischargeable.  But you should consult with a bankruptcy attorney regarding your options and to help you decide on your best path.
