We hired a lawyer and filed a lawsuit against a transmission shop who had our car for 9 months. They said they rebuilt the transmission 3 times within that time period & we have a warrenty from them for the work. Upon getting the car back it was in worse shape then it was when they got it. They would not inforce their warrenty or refund any monies. We had consulted an attorney after 3 months into them having the car and was instructed to tape all conversations which we did. We had to take the car somewhere else and have it fixed which they did in under a week. We were told by them that screws and bolts were missing, etc. We filed the lawsuit, the owner was served, he never filed any paperwork. Before the judge could make a judgement the owner of said business filed bankruptcy. Our lawyer told us he had to check into whether we could go ahead with our lawsuit or not. We are not listed as a creditor in the bankruptcy. It has been over a month & we still dont have any answer. can you help
