Can I do a 3rd bankrupsy

More details to this question:
My doctor bills are over 12,000.00 my car I bought is nice 2 days after I bought it my daughters great Dane took me down after seeing a rabbit so it's harder to get in and out of my car now...I have hospital bills from this and physical therapy Dr. S...I need help do I let car go? Try bankruptcy? The consumer affairs reviews for where I make my car payment are awful I'm scared after reading reviews to ask if I could lower my car payment or give it back any suggestions?

It depends. A debtor can do one chapter 7 bankruptcy every eight years. However you can do a Chapter 7 bankruptcy followed four years later by a chapter 13. Further, you could file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy followed two years later by another chapter 13 bankruptcy. Also, you can file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy filed four years later by a Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
