Should not be a problem unless you want to purchase the firearm on credit. You are prohibited from obtaining credit while in Chapter 13 unless you have trustee or court approval.

You should ask your Chapter 13 BK attorney. It's like asking a doctor you never met to give you an opinion about your medical file held by another doctor.

If you're considering spending a few hundred dollars on a new firearm, it is no problem. If you're planning on spending $10,000 on an electronically aimed .50 rifle, the trustee may object that you haven't been paying all your disposable income into the plan.
