QUESTION

Can they send us a writ of possession without notifying us first?

Asked on Apr 01st, 2015 on Foreclosures - Florida
More details to this question:
I was served papers that foreclosure was going to be pursued and the bank requesting a court date for a hearing. That was about 6 months ago, now all of a sudden my tenant and I both receive a letter asking for writ of possession and it states that the bank bought back the condo in January. Can they do that without notification? They said they notified myself and my tenant but neither of us have received anything prior to this?

You have to get an attorney for this sort of thing. Without one, this is just a small example of what will happen.
