Your facts are very unclear.  What is this check for?  Who gave it to you?  Is this a loan, or income?  Most Chapter 13 cases disallow the incurring of new debt over a certain dollar amount without court approval, so if this is a loan, you need to check with your Trustee (or better yet, an attorney) about what your rights and obligations are.   Mark Markus has been practicing exclusively bankruptcy law in California since 1991.  He is a Certified Specialist in Bankruptcy Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization,  AV-Rated by martindale.com, and A+ rated by the Better Business Bureau.
