More details to this question:
At my evidentiary hearing, the mortgage lender offered a sale date for 120 days with wanting to modify my loan. However, the judge asked the lawyer if they had the title and they didn't but we agreed to their terms. Now I'm thinking they pulled a fast one. What are my options?
The lender must comply with the New Jersey Fair Foreclosure Act. You should hire an attorney that understands foreclosure and defenses as well as modifications.
