It appears that you had opted to surrender the jeep at the time of filing bankruptcy which meant that you had given up possession. The vehicle technically belongs to the bank who has legitimate ownership and title. You have the option to negotiate with the bank in exchange for the title.

Unless you pay the lien off, you don't get title. The bankruptcy didn't erase the lien.

It is not likely that after 10 years the bank wants your jeep. Try writing a letter to the bank requesting it to send you the title reflecting that its lien is satisfied. If the bank ignores you try requesting a new title from your state's motor vehicle department.

The first thing to do is contact the bank. If that does not work, see if you can apply at DMV for another title. The bank may well have lost it.

First I would contact the bank and ask for the title. They may want copies of your bankruptcy papers.

The title still belongs to the bank. The fact that they "never" came to pick up the vehicle just means that you had the use of it without paying for it for the last 10 years.

You must pay the loan off to get the title. I assume that you did not reaffirm but they chose to not repossess. Their lien is still valid.

The bank would still own it but maybe they just dont care. Contact them first. After 10 years it may be they just give you the car.

You will need to contact the lender to have them release the lien on the title. You can get the lender's information from the department of motor vehicles or wherever you normally register your vehicle.
