I have a 28 year old daughter who I named as an owner on my home in addition to my other daughter. I removed them both as owners about 4 years ago. The 28 yr. old has accumulated debt and now wants to put a lien on the house. Can she do that?
If they are still lawful owners of the house they may be able to do so. You should consult an attorney to see if you had them properly removed as owners.
