More details to this question:
My Employer, Cal Premium Treats 20343 Harvill Ave Perris, CA 92570 filed chapter 11 bankruptcy on Monday, August 22, 2016 We the employees have not received wages since August 1st and many of us are struggling. The management has repeatedly promised our checks would come soon, however they have not. What can we do to get help?
Typically what will happen is the employer (debtor) will request court approval to pay the pre-filing wage claims ahead of other creditors, so my guess is that you will get your back wages in the relatively near future. If not, you will need to file a claim in the bankruptcy case and you will get paid whenever the Plan is approved, which could be quite some time.
