If he is being disbarred I seriously doubt he will paying you back, also I doubt he will or even could represent you at the 341 Meeting in your Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. If all the paperwork has been filed properly you should be fine at the meeting alone, but attorneys don't get disbarred from doing things properly. I would consult a Bankruptcy Attorney in your area for more advise. Is this the Brockton Court on Elm Street?
I have responded to your inquiry according to the laws of Massachusetts, where I practice. Laws can vary significantly from state to state and cases tend to be rather fact-specific, so you are best served by consulting with a knowledgeable attorney in weighing your options.
