More details to this question:
Hey, I was served a notice of lien (titled: Notice under section 26-305 of the administrative code of the city of New York). I never received any warnings about this matter before the lien. It basically says to pay the city 38,000 for a tenant's hotel bills because I as the landlord was negligent. Two years ago, a tenant I was evicting called the building dept and my house was issued partial vacate order. Can I challenge this lien? Please Help... Thank You
