I am a fl.resident for 9 months I went to see a couple of lawyers there and they said I have to see a lawyer in ct I am now in ct. went to see a lawyer and he said I have to get a lawyer in fl I am 80 yrs old and confused . where should i get a lawter

You need a connecticut bankruptcy attorney who is familliar with Florida exemptions unless you are able to file using only the Federal exemption statutes.
