More details to this question:
I filed my taxes and got my refund, but I don't know how much or when to send it to the trustee. I received nothing in writing about this from either my attorney or the trustee. What should I do?

You paid them to help you through this process. If they refuse then file a complaint with either the State Bar or the State Supreme Court.

Call the trustee and ask him/her about what they want you to do.

Put your case number on the refund check and mail it to the Trustee. The Trustee will calculate what portion of the check, if any, belongs to you, and send you a refund.

In Idaho, it is your duty to turn over the full amount to the Trustee. The Trustee will refund to you any portion that may be exempt or that was exempted on your schedules. But the Court Order is to turn it all over. I have clients give the checks to me so I know it was turned over and the date. But you can send it directly to your Trustee as well. The Trustee's address is on your initial bankruptcy notice that was mailed to you.
