Why does my husband gets a bill from the Attorney General?

I have noticed my husband get a bill every month from the attorney general. I'm wondering why he is sending money and what for?

This is not a question that we can answer. The Attorney General collects many types of fines and debts, including such things as overpayments of government benefits, taxes owed to the government, student loans assigned to state agencies, etc.
