Will a bankruptcy interrupt SSD benefits?

More details to this question:
I receive Social Security Disability and had to take out some pay day loans to meet some unexpected expenses. Can I file for bankruptcy? If so, will it interrupt my benefits?

Filing bankruptcy will not interfere with your right to receive any form of social security benefits, including SSD benefits.

Your SSD benefits are exempt assets and may not be attached by the trustee or creditors. Filing Bankruptcy should not affect those benefits.

Generally the bankruptcy would not have an effect on SSD benefits. Payday loan companies are very savy at avoulding discharge of their advances so I suggest you see a bankruptcy attorney before you do anything.
