Will I be held liable for my deceased spouse’s contract obligations?

More details to this question:
My husband recently passed on December 29, 2013 and he signed a contract for security equipment for our home in Goodyear, Arizona. My question is: Since the contract is in his name only, am I still responsible for the remaining security service? The contract ends in April, 2015. We were paying $39.95 per month for the service.

Sorry to hear about your husband. I am sure this is a very difficult time for you. Unfortunately, most debts signed by either spouse is the obligation of the spouse who did not sign.
