More details to this question:
I have owned a company for 23 years as the sole owner. Recently I entered into a partnership with another person and I am having trouble with identifying our titles within the company. we are completely equal partners, yet I feel like we are being forced to set only one of us as president. I cannot find any good documentation regarding this. We will not be modifying our equal shares and ownership. Any ideas that would help us? Thank you.

There is no reason why you can't title yourselves as co-presidents.
