Accidental import of counterfeit product

More details to this question:
We get licensed samples from factories in China. After we see the products, we will either contact the distributor information shown on the products for wholesale pricing or sell the rest of the sample products in store. Today two of the sample products (cellphone cases) were said to be fake today by a police officer. My sister is arrested today and was headed to the police station. What are the approximate penalties or there any advice in this situation?

The ONLY advice is for your sister to engage the services of a criminal defense attorney. Do not discuss this situation with anyone other than the attorney, and whatever you do, do not make any more public statements about it on the internet.
