Am I doing this correctly?

More details to this question:
Me and a few partners want to form a General Partnership in CT for investing. I am drafting an agreement that we will all be signing, and then all we need to do get the business going is getting an EIN and registering it with the state?

A partnership agreement is an important document and if not drafted properly, may have negative consequences for one or more of the partners.  As a general rule, each party to a partnership agreement should consider getting independent legal counsel and advice.
