It's not the duplicate!! All you addressed in the letter was my payment of fees!! I don't have an issue with the payment of fees!! I have an issue with the board!! You tell me to run for the board but my board is made up of a bunch of 65+ individuals whose only income is Social Security so of course they go with the lowest bidder! I guess all I can do is move, but other than this I love my condo!

Condo associations are run by a board. The board is elected. This is democracy in action. The makeup of the board and its policies represent the desires of your fellow condo owners. If you can rally enough of them to see the world your way -- that cheaper isn't always better -- then you can throw the bums out and elect your own board that will engage in higher-quality repairs. Short of that, you are screwed. The board owes you no duty to see the world your way.
