More details to this question:
I am 1 of 2 members of an LLC Partnership we have been running a recording studio for 1 1/2 years and we have been using all of the businesses income to reinvest into the business and purchase operating equipment and do marketing. Just recently my partner quit snook into the office stole 80 % of the operating equipment over 12,000 $ in value and told me he can legally do so beacuse hes a member of the llc and its not stealing that hes taking back what he felt he put into the business and if i come find him and approach him he will have me arrested for assault. as a result the business can not operate and no income can be made. In order for me to get the business fully operational again i have to purchase new equipment. i closed the business bank account filed a trespassing ban, and filed a civil suit. i have reciepts for some equipment however we purchased most of it through one of his personal financing accounts i have bank statements. Is this a good case what should i bring to court.
It sounds like you probably have a case against your colleague. Business disputes can get pretty complicated though and you should consider consulting a local attorney who specializes in these matters.
