Can I sue a hospital? I went in to have my gulbladder removed I got out that same day and ended up in the Er the nexr day with the same pain. They figured out after about two days they have left a stone and it had gotten stuck. I ended up really sick my heart was going fast I ended up in the heart I.c.u.. My liver and pancreas started to shut down and after a month I finally started to get better. I am now diabetic and insulin dependent. I just had a baby that was preemature and really need help

Anyone can sue anyone for anything. The more important question is whether you will be able to find an attorney to represent you in a lawsuit against hospital on a contingent-fee basis. Generally speaking, a personal injury attorney will be looking to see if you have suffered substantial injury -- that has a substantial monetary value -- as a result of negilgence that is relatively easily proven. Your facts do not make the hospital's liability for your diabetes and premature baby clear. You should discuss the situation with an attorney.
