Can I use a UPS box street address on my business license for my home-based online business? My county clerk is telling me this isn’t acceptable.

More details to this question:
My LLC is in the startup phase. It will be an online, home-based business. I have chosen to use a UPS box (street address with suite number) for the physical address of my business on legal documentation in order to protect my privacy and prevent using my personal home address. However, when applying for a business license at my local county clerk, they are telling me that the business license needs to reflect my home address (where the business is actually conducted). I do not want to use my personal home address because of privacy reasons. I also do not want to have to change my legal documents to my home address, again for privacy reasons. Is it possible to use the UPS box address for the legal address of the business and use my home address for business license purposes to appease the county clerk (2 different addresses)? Thank you.
