QUESTION

Copyright infringement by Chrysler

Asked on Feb 13th, 2013 on Business Law - New York
More details to this question:
I am an immigrated German minority and small business owner in Ohio. My wife and I believe the Chrysler group LLC infringed upon our copyright protected work. That infringement consists of www.dogdedartregistry.com. Which used our copyrighted materials from our our Collaborative online store application on www.sharingbuying.com., which has been in quasi operational stages since 2010. Do we have a legitimate cause for a copyright infringement suit or not? Primarily since this case might also constitute and insinuate institutional business discrimination in this part of the US? Thank you kindly for your educated and elaborated answers. A.E.

Update Your Profile
Your question is very fact specific and an attorney would have to examine your copyrighted work and the alleged infringement.  You don't indicate whether you filed for copyright registration, even though you own copyright rights even without registration. Your "institutional business discrimination" question does not follow from any of your posted facts. Prepare yourself that many attorneys will not be willing to handle such a matter on a percentage basis against a Fortune 500 company.
