More details to this question:
A certain company was looking to hire managers. I applied, and gave it my application to a manager who gave it to someone else outside the company. This other person contacted me, asking me to come out and learn more about the job. However, I assumed this was the management position and the same company, which it wasn't. is it legal for someone to give my application to another company for their hiring purposes without any sort of consent?
