Asked on May 18th, 2012 on Business Law - Oregon
More details to this question:
I live in oregon and I work for a medical device company. I was hired in february and am paid on a draw. I have a signed contrct that lasts a year. I have been struggling to sell so they decided to give me until the end of may (via email) to turn things around or they would let me go. But then i get a call on Monday May 14th and said its not working out and they fire me. I''''m supposed to get paid today. Do I have any kind of legal action. I signed a year contract then they give me until the end of may then they fire me in the middle of May.

The duplicate of this question has been responded to. Since you are paid on a draw, your damages, if any, will be likely be limited to your earned commissions.
