As an employer, you have no duty to continue the employment of an employee who is injured away from business premises and who is unable to perform the duties of the job as a result. You have no duty to provide a wheelchair. You may choose to do so. If the employee is injured as a result of using the wheelchair while on the job, the employee has the same rights as any other employee injured on the job -- workers comp.
