More details to this question:
Husband opened NY State LLC and bank account. Now the marriage has soured and the husband controls all the money and locks up cash. Wife works the business and signs the taxes as proprietor of the LLC. How can wife stop husband from controlling the money? Is he legally entitled to have the bank account? Can she get the bank account closed? Can she open a bank account that she controls if she signs the taxes?
There is not enough information to answer. The account agreements will govern the account. If the wife gave rights to husband before, they may not be able to be revoked without court order. The wife needs to sue the husband over the LLC, which can be connected to a matrimonial.
