How do I remove my name as a Manager on a LLC?

My ex-boyfriend and I were operating a dog grooming business. I am listed as a Manager on the LLC. How do I remove my name. I am estranged from my ex. He's a con artist and I dont trust him to follow thru with any requests from me. Thanks

You will need to amend the operating agreement to reflect the change. But he will need to agree to that assuming he is a 50% owner. Are you expecting to be paid for your interest in the company? If so, the question is how much you'd like to be paid and will he pay it? If not, then the request should be easier assuming you are willing to bear the cost of amending the operating agreement.
