I had a great FT Job and was hoping to build it up. I lost the job 1/09 and struggled to keep the store. In June of 2011 I thought I sold it to some people who owned two stores. We had agreed on a price, they gave me a 5,000 good faith check (used to pay off some bills) with promise of the contract, well it never came, they actually worked in the store fixing it up, threw out some of my equipment and came up with a milliion reason why no contract we even agreed on a lower price. Yes I was stupid and naive and honest to let it go on. Now they want to walk away from it and I claimed the equipment is mine do to lack of a contract, they claim it is not. More to story but I have little space left. They can afford an attorney and have me over a barrell because they know I can not. Do I lose everything here, I do have emails with them saying what they want to do and give. They claim they mean nothing. Please is there anyone who can help. Thanks Struggling to keep alive?
