I was exposed and treated for scabies three weeks ago. If I tell my employer HR rep can I be fired?

More details to this question:
I had symptoms but was never diagnosed. My mom told her doctor that she had been exposed and the doctor treated but never tested.

As a general matter, you can be fired for any reason or no reason at all. No law prohibits your employer fro terminating your employment following your revelation of a minor illness (or exposure).
