After replacing a broken starter gear the Service department left the broken gear teeth in the engine of my UTV. The repair work was done under warranty. I found the gear teeth in my engine oil after the engine started knocking very bad. The service manager said it would be fixed at no cost to me, and he would pay for an extended warranty but he has since quit and now they want me to pay for repairs? They also told me the guy who worked on it no longer worked there because of his bad work practices!
If the warranty service was done improperly or negligently, you are entitled to have the service performed properly and to recompense for any resultant damage from the service having been performed improperly.
