If I ask a boys (under 18 yrs of age) baseball team coach permission to photograph the players on his team do I need a release for all team members?

More details to this question:
Or is the coaches permission all I need or do I need permission from the parent(s) or Guardian(s), and if I do need permission for each member can I use one form and have all parent(s) or Guardian(s) sign it or would I need one form per member?
As a general matter, you do not need a release unless you intend to use the photographs for advertising, trade or commercial purposes. You probably know this already and that is why you are asking about releases. The point is that, if a release is required, the rights to be released are personal to the individuals who are being photographed, and their coach does not control the release of these rights; their parents or legal guardians do.
