The director of my work at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Contact Center has hired her neice which is against the Nepotism law. Every one else gets written up for being late and even get suspended.for up to 5 days, her niece has been late almost every day for the last 3 months or more and nothing has been done. She has also been given special treatment when she was sick and had first started, that no one else would have gotten. I was over heard on my lunch in the breakroom saying I was keeping track of the fact she is late every day and has only been written up one time for one incident of being last 14 minutes one day which she had told everyone about. I was called into the office because of this and was told by my director that this is harrassment and I can not keep track of whether someone is late all the time or not. She specifically stated it is up to Toni if she wants to do anything about the harrassment. Is this truely harrassment and can I be in trouble for this?
