I was in a grocery store purchasing groceries and my total bill was $353.00. the cashier looked at me and said why are you buying so much food. I replied I have a family of 7. once I explained it was 5 adults 2 kids in my home he said, what are you Mexican or black? i replied neither, why? he said only those people live in a house with that many people. ithen explained that we are Italian and he said well you don''t look white you look Mexican.
I have light brown hair and I''m light complected. when I called the store manager to inform him of this situation he offered me$75 but I have to sign a release form and also stated his employee admitted to saying this to me.
