LLC that is registered to a personal house if sued will house be at risk?
Asked on Aug 26th, 2015 on Business Law - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
I founded an LLC that is a juicing company and have it registered to my personal house, due to lack of capital to purchase a store front yet. In the case of it being sued would my house be at risk for being a asset of the company?
Your house is no more an asset of the company than any office space you rent. However, it can't hurt to cause the llc to pay you a reasonable rent for the space.
