franchise this would give me the opportinity to stay at home. I quit my job in eduction and went to training in Baltimore, maryland. When I got there I was shocked to find out that I had to spend money to make money. The free job boards would not work and this woman pressured me to get the expensive advertising, no hourly salary, and could not get another job. I signed up for it paying $400 a month with no salary. When I did make money it took her over 90 days to pay me. She also tried to cheat me out of money and I have the email to prove it. I could not pay the advertising on time, based on the way she paid me. I could not make money due to the structure of the company, 1 person training 50 people it was horrible. I went through financial stress due to this and now I owe Monster $3000 due other firing me over demanding my pay. I lived in georgia at the time, but now I live in el paso. the business is in Baltimore Maryland.. I don''t know which lawyer to contact
Your post is confusing. It is not clear what you allege that Patrice and Associates did that was wrong. It is not clear who "this woman" is and whether she was an officer or agent of Patrice, nor is it clear that her "pressure" on you was wrongful. When you say she tried to "cheat" you out of money, you do not provide any facts from which it is possible to determine whether you may have a claim of some kind. It does seem as if this was a very stressful situation for you, but it is not clear that a law has been broken. Perhaps you should consider consulting with an attorney in Maryland to see if the facts can be clarified and your rights established.
