Regarding Mass Tort Litigation against Chase Home Finance. Resolution Law Firm contacted me and asked for 6K to represent me in this mass tort.

They said they would demand a reduction of principle to 70% of current value and would save me over 500/mo. How do I find out if this firm is legit? I find no records in BBB, but wondered if I could call the Attorney General. The firm is from CT but the women I spoke with is from FL and I am in SC.? Chase took 18 months to complete my modification and tacked on untold amounts of interest and penalties so I would love to go after them, but $6000 seems steep to pay up front.
There is no "mass tort" litigation against Chase on this subject. There are individual claims (many, many of them), which these folks propose to assert on your behalf. You can have your own attorney do the same thing. There can be no assurance that you will recover.
