Should I form an LLC first or register (trademark) my brand?

More details to this question:
I've created a name to use to sale product (jewelry & accessories) and services (life coaching). I want to protect it so that I can create a brand around it with the peace of mind of not having to worry about someone infringing up on it after I put years of hard work into it. At the sometime, I AM boot strapping it so there are a lot of expenses and no profit yet. Therefore, I am debating between the following: Should I register/trademark the name and later (once I am actually turning a profit) set up an LLC for it? Alternatively, I currently have a ladies jewelry line set up as an LLC. Would it be smarter to set up a DBA under it (to protect myself) and trademark the new name to protect it?
