Am writing up my Articles of Organization for a single member LLC and I have everything done except under the Purpose area my sample pages say "The purpose for which the company is organized is to conduct any and all lawful business for which Limited Liability Companies can be organized pursuant to _______________ statute, including but not limited to: import/export of a variety of wholesale goods for resale." - This "pursuant to ___ statute" is also listed in the Liability section. Do I write "State statute" or Oregon Statute or is there a statute number this refers to? These are pretty general articles of organization. Any help would be appreciated on how to complete this properly. Thank you!
