unpaid payday loans

More details to this question:
i have a few payday loans that i defalted on about a year ago. i recently recieved two new loans from other companies and am paying on time. i recieved two phone calls one from florida and one from california stating they were lawyers saying they were going to have me arrested if i didnt pay right away. the first caller scared me saying he would call my local sheriff and they would pick me up. when asking how i could go about paying his loan they told me i had to get a money pack from walgreens to pay them. i recieved a identical call the next day from another state. i do not want to get arrested and am afraid im bing scammed. they were definitly calling from some call center as i could hear all the other people on the phone in the background. they did though know the name of the payday loan company i owed. is this possible for them to find out

You cannot be arrested for failing to pay a payday loan. Moreover, it is a violation of state and federal law for debt collectors to threaten you with collection actions that they cannot legally take against you. You should report the details of these calls to the Federal Trade Commission and your state's attorney general. You do not need to respond to these calls and may simply hang up on the callers.
